What levels of command exist in these services? For Fire services with fire based EMS, it’s pretty much the same - EMS Chief, EMS Deputy Chief/battalion chief, EMS Captain, EMS Lieutenant. I don’t believe there is a true difference, DUI/DWI patrols are regular patrol units that just set up “check points” to see if any drivers are intoxicated and are “specially” trained officers able to respond to assist a unit in a traffic stop if a suspected DUI

-capable of patrolling waters same functions as coast guard (maritime law functions)
