I would like to see the default sorting for available vehicles changed to Vehicle Name instead of Family.

Positive:
This would give users the ability to sort the list in their own preference simply by renaming the vehicles. It's also much simpler than adding new feature that would allow users to set their own defaults.

Negative:
frustrate some users as the list they are used to would change.

Maybe leave the family sorting and also make it so you can sort it by vehicle name as well. You can have the best of both worlds. Keep both people happy.
