MCI unit and mobile ambulance bus are the same thing, generally an MCI unit is a large trailer or bus.

I think instead of a rescue captain maybe rescue battalion, but again not every community operates like FDNY, some communities rely on their battalions or deputy’s to have the knowledge and training to handle.

They are actually 2 different units. An MCI Unit is a unit that brings a huge amount of supplies to an MCI incident. The Mobile Ambulance Bus is a large bus used to transport a large number of patients. So you are incorrect.
